You can park here and then go on the Petit Train d'Artouste which I believe is said to be the highest in Europe at over 2000m.... It means a cable trip to get up to top and then train ride. The photos of this are in the Landmark section, so do please look and see if you would wish to do it. I loved it, my husband who hates heights but loves trains, did it, but closed his eyes coming down in the cable car.... Marmots were seen too en route, an animal I had not seen until then.
